Top 100 Golf Quest E-Newsletter Vol. 21

Newsletter graphicMy apologies for being a little late with my third quarter newsletter. Things have been a little hectic around here with the launch of the redesigned/renamed website and I fell a little bit behind. In case you hadn’t notice The Itinerant Golfer has officially transitioned over to Golf Tripper and the initial feedback on the new site has been great. If this is your first visit to the redesigned site I hope that you’ll take a few minutes and click around to see some of the changes. I think you’ll find the new site easier to navigate and hopefully you’ll like the new look as well.

Although the name and the look have changed Golf Tripper is going to pick up where The Itinerant Golfer left off and will continue to chronicle my Top 100 Odyssey to the bitter end. In addition to the Top 100 courses you will notice that we will be featuring some golf lifestyle articles as well as information about planning trips to public and resort golf destinations . . . some of which is being contributed by other golf nuts from across the country. If you are interested in writing a piece to be featured on Golf Tripper, please drop me an email and let me know what you have in mind.

Getting back to my Top 100 quest, 2013 was another great year and I was able to visit 14 new Top 100 courses as well as have an opportunity revisit a few of my favorites from years gone by. To date the total count is 91 which leaves only 9 more courses to accomplish my goal. The new list comes out in 2015, so if I am lucky and all goes well there is a chance that I could complete the current list next year before the new Top 100 list comes out in early 2015. If you’re interested in which courses I have left to play you can see a full list by clicking Itinerant Golfer and then Top 100 Quest in the navigation bar at the top of the page, or you can just click HERE.

Since my last newsletter there have been quite a few new course profiles and other articles added to the site. If you haven’t been here in a while, below is a list of the posts that have been added since my last newsletter.
