In honor of the first major of the year I thought I’d do a review of a newly released book that takes a look at the golf courses of major championship golf. When you’re writing a book about the golf courses of major championships it only makes sense to start the book off with an introduction by the golfer who has won more majors than anyone else, Jack Nicklaus. Kicking off with Augusta National Golf Club and The Masters, Green Glory gets off to a great start. The paintings of Linda Hartough are beautifully reproduced and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen Augusta National look so majestic. After The Masters section the book moves on to the U.S. Open, British Open, and PGA Championship courses. In all there are more than 80 golf courses profiled with each one featuring a brief editorial piece as well as gorgeous paintings/photography that are a feast for the eyes. This one is not sold on Amazon, but you can click HERE to go to the publishers website and make the purchase. It’s a great addition to any golf book collection.
