This Johnny Miller design is the course that really started driving attention towards St. George as a golf destination to travel to.  The first 14 holes go through a residential development before embarking on one of the most unique settings in golf.  The final holes carve through dark black lava rock and look as intimidating as they are penal.  Holes 15-17 form the Devil’s Triangle where golfers are presented with two par 4s and a par 5 that they won’t soon forget.  From a conditioning perspective, Entrada has no equal in the St. George area.

Local Knowledge:  Formerly a public facility, Entrada has gone private but allows patrons of the Inn at Entrada guest privileges to play the course.

With the additions of Coral Canyon and Sand Hollow to the St. George area there is plenty of competition to be crowned king, but Entrada is certainly in the running. Signature Hole:  16th - 563 Yard Par 5 - The signature feature of Entrada is the dark lava rock that encompasses the finishing holes on the back nine. The double dogleg 16th hole features an intimidating tee shot where more rock is visible than fairway. Precision, not brute strength, is the key to negotiating the trouble found on this challenging hole. Going wayward on this signature hole will either give you a… More >
